In an earlier email forwarding our 2026 calendar, we mentioned a few dates in September or October could change once the USAFA football schedule came out. That schedule has been released and some past USAFA classes will be holding their reunions in conjunction with the home game on October 17th. They have already reached out to the EGC about tournaments on Thursday Oct 15th so we will be moving our OPC to Tuesday of that week, Oct 13th.
That is the only change caused by the USAFA football schedule and attached is what should be our final schedule for the season. You’ll notice we have several Tuesday dates now and we highlighted them in Yellow to help them standout more. Our first is less than two weeks on Tuesday, April 21st instead of Thursday, April 23rd.
Like last year though, we may change some of the formats of the Oct OPCs for variety. Last year’s Chicago format was a big hit and the Tournament Committee has been discussing a possible one-man scramble as that second guy is always better. There will still be the normal $6 OPC entry fee for theses events with $4 going to the purse and $2 to skins.
