Sign-ups for our next tournament, the EMGA Member-Member, are open.  The tournament is scheduled for TUESDAY, 15 Sep, with an 0845 shotgun start, on the Silver course.

The tournament follows the 0715 EMGA Breakfast and Members Meeting.  A separate invitation will go out for the breakfast. 

You must sign-up for each event separately.  Sign-ups for both the tournament and breakfast close on Sun, 13 Sep, at 1800. 

– Format:  Both players will play their own ball from tee until holed.  The team score is the lower net score from either player on each hole.

– Handicap (HC):  Both players receive 90% of their course handicaps. 

– Scoring:  The field will be divided into four flights based on total team handicap index.  Payouts will go to the top teams in each flight.

– Closest-to-the-Pin on Par 3s:  Included.

– Skins:  Optional Gross and Net Team skins at $5 per player, to be deducted from your EMGA account.  Both players on the team must participate for the team to compete.  Skins competition will be Team vs Flight. 

Sign-Ups: 

Since this is a two-man event, you can either sign up as an individual and get paired with another member, or you can sign up with a partner. 

Signing up as an Individual:  Click on the “Playing” button at the bottom of this email.  On the next page, click the box that says, “I acknowledge that GG . . . “, and then click on “Sign Up” on the lower right of that same page.  The Tournament Committee will assign you a partner. 

Signing up with a Partner:  

1. Only one member can sign up both team members.  Please coordinate with your partner on who will sign-up both players. 
2. Select “Playing”. On the next page, click the box that says, “I acknowledge that GG . . . “, and then click on “Sign Up” on the lower right of that same page.   
3. You’ll be given the option to sign up another team member.  Under Add Player, Select your partner’s name and then select “Playing with Host” to pair you and your partner.  Click on the “I acknowledge” box for your partner, and click on the “Sign Up” on the bottom right.   
4. You’re done.
