Sign-ups for our next tournament, the Two-Man Scramble, are open. The tournament is scheduled for Thurs, 30 Jul, with an 0800 shotgun start, on the Blue Course.
Sign-ups close on Tue, 28 Jul, at 1800.
Since this is a two-man event, you can either sign up as an individual, and the Tournament Committee will pair you with another member; or you can sign up with a partner.
To sign up as an Individual:
1. Log into the EMGA Portal at egc-2026emga.golfgenius.com ,
2. Under the tournament name on the left side of the page, click on “Sign Up”
3. On the next page, click on the “I acknowledge . . . “ box
4. Click on “Sign Up” on the bottom right
The Tournament Committee will assign you a partner who has a handicap index close to yours.
To sign up as a Team with a partner:
1. Log into the EMGA Portal at egc-2026emga.golfgenius.com
2. Under the tournament name on the left side of the page, click on “Sign Up”
3. Click “Add Member”, then enter your partner’s name
4. Click on “Playing with Host”. This puts you and your partner on the same team.
5. Click the “I acknowledge . . . “ : box
6. Click on “Sign Up” on the bottom right. If you get a red error box, ignore it.
– Format: Both team players tee off on each hole from their individually declared tees. The team will choose which drive to use. Both players will then play each shot in a traditional scramble format until holed. The Team must use at least three drives from each team member on Holes 1-9 and three drives from each member on Holes 10-18.
– Handicap (HC): The team will receive 35% of the A player’s course handicap and 15% of the B player’s course handicap.
Scoring: The field will be divided into flights based on total team HC Index. The top teams in each flight receive payouts.
Closest-to-the-Pin on Par 3s: Included.
Skins: Optional Gross and Net Team skins at $5 per player, to be deducted from your EMGA account. Both players on the team must participate for the team to compete. Skins competition will be Team vs Flight.
