Team EMGA Victors over Pueblo
Your Home&Away team poured it on at Home for a 20-16 victory over Pueblo CC last Thursday. Although trailing 13-5 going into the Home match, Team EMGA went 4-0-2 (W-L-T) on the Blue Course for a 15-3 Home and overall match victory. The team results were:

Here are the results from today's OPC on the Blue Course. We had a total of 98 players, 8 played in Flight 1 (gross only) and the other 90 were split evenly across the other 6 Net flights. The purse totaled $588.00.
The next event is the Individual Modified Stableford (IMS) on Thursday, 16 July. Sign ups are currently open. Text Ron Schilling if you have any questions on the IMS.
Ike Cup standings coming out later tonight. Blue Ringers have been updated on the portal.
Lastly, most every group played in 4:10 or less, with only a few finishing between 4:10 – 4:20. Pace of Play was very good!

Hi EMGA,
Sign-ups for our next EMGA tournament, the Individual Modified Stableford (IMS), are open. The tournament is scheduled for Thurs, 16 Jul, with an 0800 shotgun start on the Blue Course.
Sign-ups close on Tue, 14 Jul, at 1800.
To sign up:
1. Log into the EMGA Portal at egc-2026emga.golfgenius.com ,
2. Under the tournament name on the left side of the page, click on “Sign Up”
3. On the next page, click on the “I acknowledge . . . “ box
4. Click on “Sign Up” on the bottom right
Format: Golfers will play their own ball. Stableford points will be awarded based on the net score for each hole. Point values awarded will be 1 point for a net bogey, 2 points for a net par, 4 points for a net birdie, 6 points for a net eagle, 8 points for a net double eagle, and 10 points for a net triple eagle or better.
Scoring: Golfers will be flighted by Tee Division and handicap index. The White Division includes players with declared tees of White and White/Gold. The Gold Division includes players with declared tees of Gold, Gold/Silver, and Silver. The top finishers in each flight will be determined by the highest number of Stableford points and will receive payouts. Ties will be retained.
Handicap (HC): Players will receive 100% of their Course HC.
Closets-to-the-Pin on Par 3s: Included.
Skins: Optional skins are $5 per player, which includes entry into both gross and net skins. Gross skins are scored by Tee. Net skins are scored by Tee Division.
Ringers and Ike Cup: This tournament will count toward the Ringers and Ike Cup season long tournaments.

Mark Kelbel's next Golf Clinic is this week,on 8 July for the EMGA. The dates for future sessions are 8, 15, 22, and 29 July. This will be on Wednesdays from 3:00 – 4:00 PM. Cost is $15 per lesson.

Team EMGA Loses Close Match at Kissing Camels
Your Home&Away team fought hard, but windy conditions and speedy greens took their toll on our team. Although leading 17-7 going into the Away match, Team EMGA went 1-6-1 (win-loss-tie) for a 6 ½ to 17 ½ loss. That made the final tally 24 ½ to 23 ½ in favor of the Camels. The bright spot, as with our Home result, the team of Larry Overmyer and Greg Paulk took 1st place in Team Best Ball with a net 65 ($80 prize).
