Thanks to the 97 members who came out this morning and participated in the ABCD Variable Best Ball Tournament. 

The results are attached and available through the EMGA Portal Page.

Our next tournament is the Two-Man 6-6-6, Thurs, 2 Jul, with a shotgun start on the Silver course.  Sign-ups will open on Tue, 23 Jun, at 1900. 

Additionally, the EMGA Membership Meeting and Luncheon will be held immediately after the tournament.  Sign-ups for the luncheon will also open on Tue, 23 Jun. 

If participating in both the tournament and Luncheon, you must sign up for each event separately.

Attached are the Tee Sheet, Alpha List, and Rules for tomorrow’s ABCD Variable Best Ball Tournament, Thurs, 18 Jun, with an 0800 shotgun on the Silver course, showing your starting hole and teammates.

We are short one “D” player.  If your Handicap Index is 22.0 or higher, and you want to play, please contact us as soon as possible.  First request gets the open slot.

GATE TRAFFIC:  Both the north and south gates have been backing up in the morning.  Please plan accordingly.

Range Opens:  0630

Sign-in:  0645-0730 in the Grill area

Call to carts:  0745

Shotgun start:  0800

If you are scheduled to play and can no longer make it, please let the Tournament Committee (TC) know as soon as possible.

Optional skins are $5, which includes both gross and net skins.  Please let a TC member know you are playing skins at check-in.  If playing, $5 will be deducted from your EMGA account.

The Sign-In tables will be in the Grill area at 0645. Please ensure you sign in before 0730 if you want to participate and be included in the Skins competition.  The members manning the sign in tables are volunteers and need time themselves to hit the range before call to carts.

Also, if you have not signed in by 0730, you run the risk of losing your slot to a walk-up. 

Scoring:  We’ll be using the Golf Genius Mobile Scoring app and a paper scorecard.  Enter only GROSS scores.  One member of the team will enter the individual gross scores on the GG app.  A second team member will mark the individual gross scores on the paper scorecard.  Two team members will sign the paper scorecard.

After the round, turn in your paper scorecard to a Tournament Committee member upstairs in the Tavern.   The TC will check both your paper scorecard and your mobile entry scores before you leave.  If you have any questions, please ask that person.  Once you leave the Clubhouse area, USGA rules prohibit any changes to the card or electronic scores.  Failure to do so will result in a DQ for the foursome.

Please focus on pace of play. If you have an open hole ahead of you, you are behind. 

Unregistered Walk-Ups:

Since this is an ABCD team tournament, we will only add walk-up players to the tournament if there is an open slot within the range of the walk-up player’s HC Index.  For example, if an A player walks up with a HC Index of 10, and the only open slots are for D players where the range of HC Indexes is in the upper 20s and 30s, we will not field the A player in the open D player’s slot.

This is the last call for the EMGA ABCD Variable Best Ball (VBB) Tournament, scheduled for Thurs, 18 Jun, with an 0800 Shotgun start on the Silver Course.  Registration closes on Tue, 16 Jun at 1800.

Below is the current list of registered members. 

If your name is not listed, you are NOT signed-up to play.  To sign-up, go to the EMGA Portal Page at egc-2026emga.golfgenius.com , sign-in, and follow the prompts to sign-up for the ABCD Variable Beset Ball. 

If you're signed up and can no longer play, either send me an email or go to the EMGA Portal Page, sign in, and select the cancel signup link for the round.

If your status is correct, no action is required.

A Buck has been found.  Thank you all.

The EWGA 9ers are hosting the annual Buck and Doe Tournament. They are short one Buck to play with a very nice Doe.  9 holes and it is a 3 Alt Shot, 3 Scramble, 3 Best Ball with lunch following, prizes and more.  Entry Fee is $44.
