Bottom Line up Front:  I need to know, by 8 October, if you’re going to be changing divisions. If not, you’re good to go, no action required.

 

As mentioned in a previous email, we are going to run some trials during our October OPCs (10, 15, 24 and 31 October).  The main goal is to allow for players to play from a set of tees they prefer to play from within their division during OPCs.

 

Current Divisions:

White Division:  Green and White tees

Gold Division:  Gold tees

 

Suggested Divisions:

The White Division:  Green, Green/White combo, White.

The Gold Division:  White/Gold combo, Gold, Gold/Silver combo (currently only available on the Silver course).

 

With the above parameters, you can play from any set of tees within your division and change teeing areas from week to week if you want.  With Net scoring, you will either gain or lose strokes by moving forward or backwards in the teeing areas within your division.  The trial period will give you a chance to see how you fare by playing from a different teeing area.  You will still be flighted within your division based on handicap indexes.

 

At the end of the trial, we will decide as a group to either stay with current divisions or change to the suggested divisions.
