It is with sadness that we have had confirmed the death of Chuck Ward, a member of the Association since 2005 until he moved to Florida just last year.  Chuck died at home peacefully, surrounded by Linda and the other close members of his family on Tuesday, April 8th from ongoing health issues.  Many of you who had the opportunity to play with or against Chuck can remember his great sense of humor and sheer joy he had from being with his golfing buddies and sharing stories, yarns, and even sometimes how well he played golf!  A more complete obituary will be written by the family later.  If you have stories of playing golf with Chuck, or of serving with him, I am sure the family would love to hear from you.

His wife Linda and the family plan to hold a memorial service here at Eisenhower Golf Course sometime next year, and of course you all will be invited.
