Here’s the results from today’s OPC on the Blue Courses.  Windy conditions but we made it through.  We had 73 players, 5 flights, and a purse of $438.00.

 

Ringers leaderboards can be found on the EMGA Portal Page.  Ike Cup leaderboards will be sent out separately.

 

Next week is the Memorial Breakfast starting at 0730 followed by the ABCD tournament.  Signups are still open for both.

Free tickets for upcoming US Senior Open at the Broadmoor

EMGA – Second Call for Breakfast Meeting

We want to remind you sign-ups are now open for our Memorial Breakfast and Meeting on Thursday, May 22rd at 0730 upstairs in the Blue and Silver rooms of the club house.  The tournament for that morning is an ABCD Scramble.  Sign ups for the Scramble will open approximately Thursday, May 8th.

Thank you to the members below who have already responded.  If think you have responded, please double check the list anyway, just to be sure.

 

If you are planning on attending the breakfast and playing in the tournament, you will need to sign up for both separately.  However, you do not need to play in the tournament to attend the breakfast, nor attend the breakfast to play in the tournament.

 

Additionally, there is no charge for the breakfast as all three working meetings during the season are covered as part of your dues.

 

The deadline for signing up for the breakfast is Monday, May 19th at 0800 as we owe a final count to the EGC catering staff that time. 

 

Instructions:

  1. Sign in to the EMGA Portal page with your username and password:  egc-2025emga.golfgenius.com
  2. On the portal page, scan down under “Upcoming Rounds”, and then select “Memorial Breakfast and Membership meeting.
  3. Select whether you will be signing up for the breakfast or not attending.

Blue Ringers (and Silver Ringers),

 

I will no longer be sending out a separate email with the Ringers Leaderboards.  Both the Blue and Silver Ringers Leaderboards can be found on the EMGA Portal Page (egc-2025emga.golfgenius.com) under the Results tab.  Click on the Results tab, go to Ringers Leaderboards, and click on the Blue or Silver.  If you click on your name, you will get the additional detail on how your Ringers score is derived.

 

Leaderboards on the Portal Page are updated as soon as the results for the OPC or Tournament are sent out.

Members,

 

We had a beautiful May weather to play golf today.  Not, high of 46 degrees and raining (for some).  Anyway, we had 45 brave souls that hung-in to play in the OPC on the Blue course.  We had three flights and a total purse of $270.

 

Ringers and Ike Cup results coming out later.

 

Next tournament is the 2-man Shamble next week, 8 May.  Signups are still open.

EWGA 2025 Buck and Doe Tournament, 11 June 2025

The Eisenhower Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) 9-hole league is holding a 9-Hole Buck and Doe Tournament on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, and wanted to ask if any of us (EMGA) would like to join them.

 

They believe they will need about 8-10 men to join them since not all of the ladies have someone to ask. They have asked us for a list of our members that would be interested that they could use to pair up with with their members as needed.  Again, about 8-10 is what they believe they might need. 

 

It is an 0800 hrs Shotgun Start on the Blue Course (11 June 2025)

 

Cost is $30 and includes prizes, cart, range balls, and a Tex-Mex Buffet after the tournament.

 

Participants are responsible for their own green fees (if not an annual member).

 

The tournament is a 2-person Buck and Doe:

 

3 holes – Alternate Shot

3 holes – Scramble

3 holes – Best Ball

 

Please let me know ASAP, but no later than 9 May, if you would like to join in on this fun tournament.
